Today we are presenting an innovation from SM Klebetechnik that will effectively save you time, money and resources when emptying drums: our new, extra-thin ‘Slim Plate’ melting plates ensure that up to 25 % more space remains in your steel and paper drums for the adhesive or sealant!

Compared to a conventional, thicker melting plate, the ‘Slim Plate’ from SM Klebetechnik creates more space for the adhesive or sealing material in your drums and at the same time reduces the residual quantity remaining in the drum. An ingenious development for processing low-viscosity to high-viscosity adhesives and sealants, which we offer in three versions!

‘Slim Plate’ by SM Klebetechnik –
the right melting plate for every need

We offer the ‘Slim Plate’ from SM Klebetechnik in various rib and seal shapes, depending
on your requirements:

  • Smooth ‘slim plate’ for almost complete emptying of the drum – only 0.6 litres
    remain with a melting capacity of approx. 15-22 kg/h
  • 15 mm ribs ‘Slim Plate’ with high melting capacity – only about 1.7 litres remain
    in the barrel with a melting capacity of approx. 60-100 kg/h
  • Allrounder 26 mm ribs ‘Slim Plate’ with high melting capacity – only about 2.4 litres
    remain in the drum at a melting capacity of approx. 100 kg/h
  • 40 mm ribs ‘Slim Plate’ with 60 % larger melting surface – only 4 litres remain
    in the barrel at approx. 150-261 kg/h melting capacity
