SM Klebetechnik: Successful operations for over three decades
In 1991, the two precision mechanics Lothar and René Schog founded SM Klebetechnik as a corporate partnership in Frechen near Cologne.
Four years later, in 1995, the company was divided into two parts: SM Klebetechnik GmbH & Co. KG and SM Klebetechnik Vertriebs GmbH. At the same time, the Schog brothers transferred SM Klebetechnik to its current location in Heinsberg.
In 2002, the company implemented its DIN ISO 9001-certified quality management system and has maintained this status since then thanks to regular (re-) certification.
In 2008, the Schog brothers founded the subsidiary SM Coating GmbH, which assembles and sells coating systems. Another major milestone was passed in 2017 with the establishment of the in-house technical centre for research and development.
SM Klebetechnik is also strong in climate protection: Since 2020, it has been producing climate-neutral green electricity via a photovoltaic system fitted to the roof of the company building, which supplies the production centre and SM Coating with electricity.
